Hull KR came from behind and produced a storming second-half performance to move three points clear of opponents Salford City Reds at the Willows.

Richie Barnett got the hosts off to a perfect start with the opening try. Paul Cooke and Mark O’Neill gave Rovers the lead, as the Reds were reduced to 12 –men with Andy Coley in the sin-bin. Back to full strength Salford took a 12-10 lead at the break thanks to a Simon Finnigan score.

The visitors made the perfect start to the second half when Mark O'Neill went over for his second try. Mark Lennon and Luke Dyer quickly extended the lead. Aaron Moule gave Salford some hope with a try late on but Rovers held on to gain a vital two points which leaves Salford close to relegation.

St Helens stayed top of the Super-League with a hard fought win over Hull FC at Knowsley Road.

The Challenge Cup finalists were in control throughout with Sean Long, Paul Clough and Ade Gardner all going over in the first half.

Tries from Matt Sing and Graeme Horne gave Hull some hope as the game entered the last ten minutes.

However, Long late drop goal and Meli hat-trick on full-time sealed the win for the Saints.

Leeds Rhinos kept the pressure on engage Super League leaders St Helens with a second half demolition of Harlequins RL at Twickenham Stoop.

Played in extreme heat, Quins totally dominated the first 40 minutes, as they made the most of the sin-binning of Brent Webb for a third consecutive high tackle. Paul Sykes, Scott Hill and Mark McLinden all got on the score-sheet as the hosts led 16-6.

Leeds stepped up a gear in the second half and they ran in eight converted tries to run the poor Quins off their feet. Webb scored a brace with Danny McGuire, Scott Donald, Gareth Ellis, Jordan Tansey, Jamie Pea**** and skipper Kevin Sinfield all scored tries to end the Rhinos two match-loosing run.

Twelve men Bradford Bulls recorded a hard-fought win over Wakefield Wildcats at the Grattan Stadium Odsal.

The Bulls battled to a 16-12 lead at the break, but suffered a major blow with Jo Vagana's 39th-minute dismissal for an elbow on Wakefield's Luke George.

Wakefield closed to within two points with 15 minutes left after tries from Kevin Henderson and Jason Demetriou.

However, late scores from Bradford's James Evans and Sam Burgess sealed the win to cement third place in the engage Super League table.

Huddersfield climbed back into the top six with a comfortable win over Challenge Cup finalists Catalans Dragons at the Galpharm Stadium.

Rod Jensen and Darrell Griffin's early tries put the Giants in control and helped by Clint Greenshields's yellow card, the host led 28-6 at the break.

The Dragons fought harder in the second half, with tries in quick succession from Alex Chan and Adam Mogg. But Greenshields' second sin-binning on 70 minutes ended the Dragons hopes as Huddersfield completed a third straight win.

Warrington Wolves moved up to forth by sweeping a side local Rivals Wigan Warriors at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.

Skipper Lee Briers notched a try, helped set up several others and booted seven goals, plus a drop goal, as the hosts dominated the game.

Smart passing put Stuart Reardon over in the corner with just three minutes gone then flying machine Kevin Penny raced 40 meters to score his 10th try in eight starts.

Wigan threatened a comeback when Phil Bailey and Chris Ashton combined for Liam Colbon to go over but Briers then forced his way through from dummy-half to seal a fourth win on the bounce for the Wolves.

The crowds are very poor over there-just 3 games got over 10,000 :nope:
