Great come backs Johns or Langer

In last years State of origin alot of people in rugby league said that Andrew Johns come back was the best ever in the history of the game, and hey it was awsome he played fantastic and put the Maroons to sleep no argument there, but did they forget what Alfie Langer did in 2001 when he came back after 2 years in England to play in a series decider and dominated had one of the best games i ever saw him play, i think that was the best come back ever, ill never forget that game. what do you think, the Johns come back or the Langer, they were both great come backs.

I tend to agree - The Alfie "Rumour" had more drama with it, flying back from Warrington just added to it. Johns probably was the more clinical and efficient, but Langer had more drama!

there was so much speculation about whether alfie would come back, and a LOT of doubt whether he was still up to it. it was a true fairytale comeback, john's was just a return from injury and doing exactly what we all knew he would do. not really in the same boat imo.

as a new south wales supporter im tempted to say that johns had the greatest comeback but i agree with steve dangerous and diehard im going to to have to go with langer
