Interesting not to see any dragons in that team considering the dragons are top 3 in the premier league

I think you do... Sonny's brother doesn't play league from memory.. but I am sure one of our NZ ppls will be able to confirm that.. ;)

Interesting side... No Bulldogs, that is a first for a long time... but then again.. we are playing average-poor in PL at the moment... so not a surprise... I wish it all the best against QLD... :D :D

Knights Defend The State

Friday, May 12, 2006 - Newcastle Knights

Newcastle Knights juniors will form the majority of the New South Wales Under 19 side to play Queensland in a State of Origin 1 curtain raiser at Telstra Stadium on the 24th of May.

First Grade and Premier League half, Jarrod Mullen will be joined by Jersey Flegg players, Luke Walsh, Jacob Ling, Cory Paterson, John Tupou and Akuila Uate while Matt Cooper was named a shadow player.

The Jersey Flegg Knights are undefeated so far this season and the seven player representation is the greatest in the club's 19 year history.

Congratulations boys, Go the Blues!

Yep we sure do, Uate is a very talent winger with alot of speed to burn he has also got big raps from Andrew Johns and our scout he rates him as the next Lote Tuquiri, Walsh is a very talented Halfback and he will take over Johns and do a great job, Our fowards Ling, Patersen and Tupou are great hard working fowards and Matt Cooper is just like the st george Matt Cooper but our one has better attack :D, There are other great players who didnt make the team like Tim Natusch a very strong front rower who can do some damage like earlier this year against st george he injured 3 of the players in big tackles in the first 20 minutes of the game, and also Scott Dureau a talented five-eighth who also has a very good running game although he wouldnt of made the team seeing as hes 20. and well Mullen you might of seen what he is capable of last year against teh cowboys he is a great player.
