Well deserved spots to the lads!
Mini has been outstanding, and Delaney has been one of our biggest meter getters this year. Been a huge effort from him.

Wallace and Pearce in the side...as a half back I'd rather go on the field fresh at the back of the halves, then to start and be taken off.

Laffranchi in the number 10 is an odd choice. No props in the country? Not only is he snubbed over Gallen and Hoffman, the pick him out of position for third tier rep football?

Preston was injured last year in the City vs Country match.
Here's to the day they move/get rid of this useless NSW crap, QLD will win origin anyway.

I'm predicting all the Titans players get a 24 hour bug during the City/Country match.

Whilst u may think this game is crap, go ask laffranchi, minichello and delaney if they think this game is crap. I doubt they will agree with ya.
city country origin is more than a trial run for nsw's origin sides, its match played to acknowledge the impact both country and city football have had on the competition. Its an important game because it allows some of the best players to play in the country and allow the game to spread to the spectators that can't afford or find time to spectate, a oppurtunity they don't often get and one they do enjoy.

He's not really out of place in the #10. Played plenty for games at the Tigers there, I'm sure you remember he filled that positon last year for us too.
Good to see Carney in there, although I'm QLD'r - I'd prefer to see him in rep footy than Orford.

I do remember that, but he is a back rower in build and style, and an 80 minute one at that. With the bench they picked hopefully this means he won't play a full game and there's less chance they'll send him back worse for the wear.
