I dont think we need to start putting the horse before the cart DIEHARD... Put together a quality team which will gain support from all of your stakeholders... Over time local juniors and and QLD'ers/Nth NSW raised players will return to the fold to play in a succesful club...
It will take a few years and will benefit local footy long term.

agreed on all account. for some ppl in nsw the titans will be the local team. laffranchi isn't he from mulliwimbmi(sp) or something only an hour or so south of the qld/nsw border - i consider him a local player, even though titans ate a qld based team

Laffranchi, Preston and O'Dwyer are all from NSW north coast, which is good enough.

I know a lot of our youngsters are Queenslanders, but I have to ask, where are the NRL Queenslanders?
I want to see more Queensland signings. I was disappointed we didn't go for Ashley Harrison. I hope we see more Queensland signings after the anti tampering deadline expires. We are after all a Queensland team.

Luek O'Dwyer is a Queenslander. Bt I totally agree, old news but apparently Tonga wanted to go back to Queensland. Not sure if he still wants to.

He is umming and ahhing about it... but at the moment he is happy with things as they are... so as long as The Bulldogs give him a good enough deal.. he should stay..
If not... then it will be about who can give him the deal that works.... and that will be either North Queensland or the Western Force... as he has stated he is interested at looking at Union..

Well I got my wish. That's more like it. Former Kangaroo and Maroon Brad Meyers. A good signing. I'm glad we are bringing him home.
I also get a bit of personal satisfaction in signing former Broncos, helps stir the pot a bit.
Two blood nuts and counting.
